Solitaire Mall
A retail destination in Riyadh, delivered with Bin Dayel Contracting. ARAK supplied the indoor and outdoor light fittings across the scheme, from the trading floors and circulation routes through to the facade and external areas.
The lighting in detail
Lighting Design
- A service corridor where the linear run sets the level and the walls do the rest
- The sculptural ribbon read against the roof truss it is hung from
- Mall floor and shopfronts, each tenant lit to its own level under one ambient
Indoor Lighting
- Linear slots cut into the faceted ceiling on the geometry, not across it
Outdoor Lighting
- The external stair, each tread washed from the riser above it
